We are just a few weeks away from the official launch of the much-awaited Galaxy Note 8. Just like any other smartphone these days, this Samsung device was also subjected to a lot of leaks and rumours. Since we’re this close to its launch, the final press images of the phone have started to surface.

And the leaker of these images is none other than Evan Blass, better known by his Twitter handle @evleaks. Blass is one of the top tipsters in the industry and almost all his information is absolutely correct.

Coming to the images of the Galaxy Note 8, we have already seen a lot of them in the past too. The renders have shown us all the design aspects of the phone but this is the first time that the official press images have surfaced. The images provided by Blass are perfectly in line with the information we already have about the Galaxy Note 8.

On his Twitter handle, Evan first provided the press render of the phone just from the front. Later in the day, he provided another image of the phone showing all its sides along with the S Pen. As anyone would expect, the Galaxy Note 8 is very similar to the Galaxy S8 series but with more boxy corners.

And the biggest addition to the Note 8, perhaps to any Samsung smartphone till date, is the dual-camera setup on the back. The Galaxy Note 8 is the first Samsung device to come with dual cameras, bringing in the league of Apple iPhone 7 Plus and OnePlus 5. The images show the device and black and gold colours, while we expect Samsung to come out with more colour options at launch as well as in the future.

Another feature that the Note series is known for is the stylus, which, in the images, seems to be exactly like the one we had previously seen. Samsung is expected to bring some updates to the S Pen capabilities but for now, they seem to be made on the software side. Bixby button will again be making an appearance in the Note 8, while the fingerprint scanner is now confirmed to stay beside the rear camera.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be launching with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED 2K display that will have an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. On the back, there would be the 12MP primary camera along with a 13MP telephoto lens with both having OIS. It will come powered by a Snapdragon 835 or Exynos 8895 chipset and will have 4GB or 6GB of RAM.

Samsung has already sent out invitees for the Galaxy Unpack Event scheduled on August 23. The Galaxy Note 8 is rumoured to come in four colour options and with a higher price tag of 999 Euros or $1118. It will then go on sale in September.
