HTC is known to push out latest Android updates faster to its flagships that most of the other smartphone companies. The HTC One A9 came with Android Marshmallow directly out of the box, while we recently got to know that the A9 will be getting the newer Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update soon. Well, it looks like HTC has already decided the update schedule for its phones, and the schedule has leaked out today.

LlabTooFer, a well-known leakster, has given out an image that carries the Marshmallow update schedule for some HTC phones. Android Marshmallow along with Sense UI 7.0 will be sent out to all the mid-range or high-end HTC phones released from 2014 till date. The dual SIM variants of those phone will get the update a few months later. The list isn’t an official one, and the leakster is confident with this information, but still he mentions that the schedule might change.

The first phone in line is the latest HTC One A9, which will be updated to Android 6.0.1 in the first quarter of 2016. The One M9 will get Android 6.0 in late December this year itself, while Android 6.0.1 will reach the phone in Q1 2016. A few HTC phones including the One M9+, One M9+ Supreme, One E8, One M8, and One M8s will be skipping the Android 5.1 update directly for Android 6.0 in Q1 2016, except the One M8s, which will receive the update in Q2 2016. Android 6.0.1 for these phones is still under evaluation.

Talking about the mid-rangers, the Butterfly 3 will directly get the Android 6.0.1 update in the first quarter of the next year. The Butterfly 2 along with Desire 826 and Desire 820 be skipping Android 5.1 Lollipop and 6.0 Marshmallow directly for Android 6.0.1 in Q2 2016. The 6.0.1 update is still being evaluated for the Desire EYE. HTC will be giving the Desire 816 a direct update to Android 6.0 in Q2 2016 and is currently evaluating Android 6.0.1 for the phone. Desire 626 will get Android 6.0.1 in the second quarter of 2016, while the Desire 526 will get Android 6.0.
