ZOPO is the new Chinese competitor in the smartphone industry, and gradually expanding its business in the International markets. The company released ZOPO Speed 7 smartphone this year, and thanks to its high-end specs and an affordable price tag, the phone managed huge popularity in several markets.
There have been rumors in last few weeks that the ZOPO is working on a new flagship smartphone which will be powered by the deca-core processor with MediaTek’s Helio X20 chipset. Well, the company has now confirmed that the upcoming flagship from its stores is ZOPO Speed 8, which will be unveiled at MWC 2016 event in Barcelona.
ZOPO didn’t reveal much about the specifications, but it has confirmed that the Speed 8 will surely be powered by the powerful Helio X20 SoC and latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. In addition to this, the company assures timely OS updates in the future. Other rumored features include a 2K screen resolution, 4GB of RAM, and 20-megapixel primary camera.
If we believe the rumored specs, the ZOPO Speed 8 will be a big challenge for the recently launched YU Yutopia, which is the lowest priced phone with 2K screen resolution.
