Yuri on Ice episode 8 is set to release tomorrow and many fans have been eagerly waiting for it to arrive. The episode will be without any doubt, an amazing one as we will get to see a match between two Yuris.

So without any doubt, here is a short recap of Yuri on Ice episode 7 and spoilers of episode 8.

Yuri On Ice Episode 7 Recap

In Yuri on Ice episode 7, Yuri had to skate in the second round of the Grand Prix. In the first round, Yuri gave one hell of a performance and managed to take the first position. However, in the second round, Yuri seemed nervous because of the crowd cheering for him. Although the cheering was meant to increase his confident, but it left a negative impact on Yuri and made him nervous.

Yuri was later seen down and wasn’t motivated at all. Fans were worried that because of this, he might lose in the second round of the Grand Prix. His competitor, Chris was already trying his best to take Yuri’s place. However, Viktor then took Yuri to a quite place and told him to practice here. That also didn’t help Yuri at all, and Viktor was starting to get worried as he didn’t know how to cheer him up. As Viktor is only a coach and has never skated that much, he was not sure about what could help him set the mood of Yuri straight. He then just left Yuri on his own and told him not to lose hope.

Yuri On Ice Episode 8

Yuri’s competitors gave their performances one by one. Majority of them managed to give a good performance, while some of them messed up. Yuri was the last to perform. Surprisingly, he gave a good performance. He even managed to do some back flips at the end of his performance. Because of his good performance, Yuri managed to take the second position. His friend Phichit was the one who took the first place, while Chris remained at the third.

Yuri To Defeat Yuri Plisetsky In Yuri On Ice Episode 8

Now in Yuri on Ice episode 8, Yuri will go against Yuri Plisetsky, his old rival. The episode is titled as  “Yuri vs. Yuri The Horror! Rostelecom Cup, Short Program”, which suggests that it will be a tough match for Yuri. The match will take place in Rostelecom Cup, which will be held in Russia. Rumor is that Yuri will manage to defeat his old rival, Yuri Plisetsky again.
