In case you are in India and were waiting for a more powerful Xiaomi Redmi Note 2, then you will be delighted to know that the Chinese smartphone company is going to release the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Prime soon in India. The launch will happen via Amazon India, and the online retailing site is now displaying a teaser poster of the phone. However, the specific release date and pricing is yet not released.
For those who don’t know, the Redmi Note 2 Prime was announced three months ago along with the regular Redmi Note 2. The only difference between both the phones is the storage capacity and CPU clock rate. Both the phones use Helio X10 SoC, but the Prime version gets a 2.2GHz octa-core processor, while the Redmi Note 2 gets a 2.0GHz CPU. The regular version of the phone gets 16GB onboard storage, while the Prime version gets 32GB inbuilt storage.
All the other specs remain the same, including the 5.5-inch Full HD screen, 13MP/5MP cameras, 2GB RAM, and 3060mAh battery. In case you are looking to buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Prime, you can go to its Amazon India page and subscribe to the email list to be notified of the phone’s availability when it reaches the Indian market.
