Xiaomi has launched a new variant of its Redmi 3S smartphone, called the Redmi 3S Plus. The new smartphone will be available exclusively offline. It is company’s first offline-only smartphone in the Indian market. The Xiaomi Redmi 3S Plus comes in Dark grey, Silver and Gold color options. It is priced at Rs. 9,499.

Xiaomi Redmi 3S Plus sports a 5-inch IPS display with HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 [4 x 1.2 GHz Cortex A53 cores + 4 x 1.5 GHz Cortex A53 cores] processor with Adreno 505 GPU and 2GB LPDDR3 RAM. It comes with 32GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 128GB via a micro SD card.

The Hybrid Dual SIM (micro + nano / microSD) smartphone runs MIUI based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) OS. It sports a 13MP rear camera with PDAF [phase detection auto-focus], LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture, and full HD [1080p] video recording capability. It also features a 5MP front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture and full HD video recording feature.

The Xiaomi Redmi 3S Plus measures 139.3 x 69.6 x 8.5mm and weighs about 144g. It also features a fingerprint sensor, similar to the Redmi 3S Prime. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS + GLONASS. The new smartphone is backed by a 4000mAh / 4100mAh battery.

The Xiaomi Redmi 3S Plus was made officially announced last month. It is now available across more than 7,500 retailers. Some of the bigger retailers selling the new smartphone include Poorvika, Sangeetha, BIG C, and LOT mobiles via Xiaomi’s distributors [Redington, Innocomm, and Just Buy Live].
