Xiaomi is gearing up to launch an upgraded model of their current flagship Mi5; the device in the talk is the Xiaomi Mi5s which is in the headlines from past few days. The phone is now officially cleared by 3C regulatory body and left with TEENA certification in China before going official. Recent rumours about the device have revealed most of the specifications of the smartphone including the chipset and RAM details. Let’s check the rumoured specifications of the Mi 5s in detail.
Xiaomi Mi 5s Rumoured Specifications and Features: The Xiaomi Mi 5s sports a 5.15-inches Quad HD display (2560 x 1440 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection and the display comes with 3D touch feature that differentiates the difference between a normal tap and a force tap. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC clocked at 2.5GHz Quad-Core processor with Adreno 530 GPU. It packs a massive 6GB LPDDR4 RAM and 256GB internal storage.
It runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with MIUI 8 on top. In the camera department, the device features a 16-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, 4-axis OIS, PDAF, and can record videos in 4K at 30fps. The front camera is yet to be known. Just like the Mi 5, the Mi 5s also might feature a fingerprint sensor for extra security.
