Xiaomi had released the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 last month, and the tablet was available in Silver and Gold color schemes. It also came with 16GB and 64GB variant options and also the option to choose Windows 10 or Android. The Windows 10-powered Mi Pad 2 costs $269 for the 64GB version, and the price remains the same if you pick Android. For the 16GB variant, you need to pay $189.
For those who prefer Pink over Silver and Gold, Xiaomi has a treat for you. A special Pink version of the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 will go on sale from today on Xiaomi’s official website. The prices and configurations will remain the same. We don’t know yet if the Pink version will be a limited edition or not. Though we expect Xiaomi to keep it available in stores forever. We also can’t tell right now whether or not the Mi Pad 2 Pink will be available outside China.
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 comes with 7.9-inch 1536 x 2048 screen with 324ppi pixel density. Powered by an Intel Atom x5-Z8500 SoC with 1.44GHz quad-core CPU, the tablet can clock up to 2.24GHz. There’s 2GB of ample RAM and a 8MP/5MP camera combo. A 6190mAh battery is enough to keep you going all day.
