Xiaomi has finally declared its latest smartphone, it has been teasing for the past couple of days. The Xiaomi Mi Note is the latest flagship of the firm that it’s using to compete with the Apple iPhone 6 Plus.
The Mi Note is all about the exact same size as the iPhone 6 Plus but has a larger 5.7-inch with 1920×1080 resolution screen. The screen has 1400:1 contrast ratio and a 95% NTSC colour gamut. Additionally, there is a reading mode functionality to reduces short wavelength blue light that creates added eye strain.
The sides of Mi Note are made from metal while the front & back are manufactured of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The physical dimensions measures to 155.1×77.6×6.95mm and weighs 161g. The Mi phablet sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 with 2.5GHz quad core CPU and Adreno 330 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 16/64GB internal memory. Double 4G SIM cards are also supported by it. The Note has got powerful Sony/LG Li-ion 3,000mAh battery.
The Mi Note has a 13 megapixel Sony IMX214 CMOS sensor with f/2.0 aperture and optical image stabilization on the rear & a 4 megapixel camera with 2 micron pixel size, similar to HTC’s UltraPixel cam at front.
The Xiaomi Mi Note Phablet will run the new MIUI 6 software and priced at $371 and $451 for 16 GB & 64 GB models respectively. If you want to grab the Mi Note, pre-orders are starting on January 20 and shipping from January 27.
The Mi Note will be accessible in black and white colour options.
