Windows 10 Redstone 2 Insider Preview To Release This week

Recently, Microsoft released the Windows 10 Anniversary Update (Build 14393) to its customers. Now, the company is set to release new builds from their Development Branch to Windows Insiders. The Insiders have been reminded to check their ring settings as the new update will be released in the Fast ring. The Windows 10 Redstone 2 release is expected to be released this week itself.

The new release is not expected to bring any noticeable changes or new features. The major update focuses on making the OneCore optimal. The OneCore is the shared core across all Windows-powered devices – PC, phones, tablets, Xbox and the Hololens. With the new update, Microsoft is doing code refactoring and other engineering work. Hence, no visible new features will be seen, except optimization.

In fact, the new update might contain some bugs too. So, Insiders who really want to stay with the latest Windows OS should take the take the risk. Those who want to stay safe can skip the new update. If the Anniversary update is performing well for you, there is no need to install the new Insider Preview builds.
