It was just last week when Vernee had announced its almost bezel-less phone called the MIX 2. It was a pretty much a loaded phone with respectable specs but the company went ahead and to launch a new 6GB RAM variant of the phone. The company informed about the presence of the variant with higher RAM capacity, while the rest of the specifications are supposed to be the same.

Talking about the specifications of the phone, you will get a 6-inch display that has a resolution of 2160 x 1080. As you might have guessed by the resolution, the display has an aspect ratio of 18:9. Apart from the name, the design of the phone is another thing that is similar to the Mi MIX 2. The display is placed on the device in a similar fashion with no bezels on the three sides and a thin bezel at the bottom to house the front camera and other sensors.

A MediaTek Helio P25 octa-core CPU powers the device and the originally announced variant had 4GB of RAM while the internal memory is 64GB. After the new variant has been announced, you can get a Vernee MIX 2 with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The phone has a battery of 4200mAh and comes with support for fast charging. The phone can be charged up to 85 percent within an hour using the included 18W charger.

What this added RAM means for the users is a much improved and smoother performance. With an extra 2GB of RAM, it is quite hard for the phone to slow down even while using multiple apps. This step is focused on making the user experience better than ever by providing an ample amount of RAM. There are no details when this variant will be available, however, the 4GB RAM variant is already available for purchase.

Like Vernee had earlier said, the MIX 2 will be available starting October 15 for a price of $229.99 on GearBest. The first few buyers were supposed to get the phone for $169.99, while some 100 lucky winners would get it for $99.99 only. The pricing details of the 6GB RAM variant hasn’t been shared yet. We will update the piece when the information comes in.
