It’s a happy happy day if you rock a Samsung Galaxy Note5 in the US and that too from Verizon. The carrier has started seeding Android 6.0.1, build MMB29K, which also happens to be the newest version of Android OTA update now. Verizon is the first carrier to upgrade their Note5 to Android Marshmallow in US.

The update is supposed to be rolling out on March 4 as software version VRU2BPB2. In case you haven’t received the update notification yet don’t panic, just dive into Settings>About Device>Software updates>Check for Updates

As far as the changelog is concerned, Verizon says that the update includes support for all of Android Marshmallow 6 Features i.e. Google Now On Tap, Doze, WiFi improvement, Live broadcasting and many more along with visible UI tweaks(new icons). This update shall bring Verizon’s Samsung Galaxy Note5 on par with Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge software released few days back.
