Some reports are saying that Google will announce the next-gen Nexus smartphones on the 29th of September, and that this will be the first time Google will unveil two new Nexus smartphones at the same time. One of these is the LG manufactured 5.2-inch LG Nexus device, while the other is the 5.7-inch Huawei Nexus.
Last year’s Nexus 6 manufactured by Motorola, at $649, had turned out to be quite expensive compared to the Nexus 5 released in 2013. However, let’s talk about the LG Nexus first. According to some fresh reports which claim to have come from a person who is well-connected to the matter, the upcoming LG Nexus may be named as the Nexus 5X and will be very affordable.
If the report is to believed, the base model of the smartphone will cost $399 and is expected to come with 16 GB of internal storage. Meanwhile, the costlier 32 GB version would be priced around $449. It is being said that the Nexus 5X will be sold in three colors: white, light blue, and black. While there is no news about the prices of the Huawei Nexus, we assume that it will not be costly either.
The two new Nexus smartphones will come with pre-installed Android 6.0.Marshmallow and are expected to carry fingerprint scanners and a screen resolution of 1440 x 2560. Rumors are that these two new handsets will be up for sale immediately at the Google Store after they are announced on September 29th.
While this is all we know for now, we suggest you to keep an eye out for more information since nothing is final yet and there may be other features or certain changes coming our way.
