TP-Link Neffos X1 and X1 Max: Specifications, Price, and Availability

TP-Link has introduced the Neffos X1, and X1 Max smartphone at the IFA 2016 event. Both these smartphone are powered by MediaTek Helio P10 SoC and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Let’s check out the specifications, pricing, and availability details of these smartphones.

TP-Link Neffos X1 Specifications and Features

The TP-Link Neffos X1 sports a 5-inches HD (1280 x 720 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display and is powered by the MediaTek Helio P10 SoC clocked at 1.8GHz Octa-Core processor with mali-T860 GPU. It comes in two different variants, one with 2GB RAM with 16GB internal storage and other model packs 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The phone also packs a microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 128GB.

It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and in the camera department, the device features a 13-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX298, dual-tone LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens, and PDAF. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calls. The Neffos X1 rocks a fingerprint sensor for extra device security. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS. A 2250mAh battery is on board.

Pricing and Availability: The Neffos X1 come in cloudy grey and sunrise gold colors. It will be available for purchase during last quarter of the year.

The TP-Link Neffos X1 Max sports a 5.5-inches Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display and is powered by the MediaTek Helio P10 SoC clocked at 1.8GHz Octa-core processor with Mali T860 GPU. Just like the Neffos X1, the X1 Max also comes in two different models, one with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage and another one packs 4GB RAM and 64GB storage with a microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 128GB.

It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow right out of the box. In the camera department, the device features a 13-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX298, dual-tone LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens, and PDAF. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS. A 3000mAh battery powers the phone.

Pricing and Availability: The Neffos X1 Max price starts from 249 Euros (US$ 278 / Rs. 18500 approx.), and will be available in Q4 2016.
