Tom Clancy’s The Division is a mere 7 days away from release, and the hype machine continues to churn out more trailers. This time around, it’s a trailer for the PC version of the game, and the Nvidia GameWorks features it’s going to get.

The trailer is narrated by the game’s technical director, Andres Holmquist as he shows off the PC version of the game. The Nvidia GameWorks technologies shown off here include HBAO+ (Horizon-Based Ambient Occlusion+), creating shadows around objects that look really pretty. They’re also using Percentage Closer Softer Shadows (PCSS), which makes shadows look more realistic by making the edges of shadows get softer as the shadow moves away from the object casting it.

Nvidia and Ubisoft are also collaborating to bundle The Division with Maxwell graphic cards: i.e. the GTX 970 and above. Buy one of those cards from an authorised place, and you’ll get The Division for absolutely free – so long as you purchase before the 21st of March. The game does recommend a GTX 970 in its recommended requirements, so you’ll need a fairly beefy set-up if you plan on going ballistic in New York City.

Tom Clancy’s The Division is slated to release on March 8th for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Take a look at the trailer below (be sure to watch it in 60 fps!).
