We saw a lot at the TGS 2016. The Last Guardian was a major highlight where we saw the remastered version of the modern classic in action. It wasn’t so well-received by us. However, what was the biggest surprise was the gameplay reveal of Metal Gear Survive. We did a very extensive 9 point feature list in one of our articles. The TGS 2016 Winners list surprised us the most.
What’s the most surprising was the winner of GOTY. We expected Metal Gear Solid V or Witcher 3 to win. However, the judges and audience over there probably had something else on their mind. Anyways, the winning game is surprising but not in a bad way. Splatoon, if you hadn’t guessed by now, is definitely an under-appreciated game and we were glad to see its genre-changing mechanics getting positive nods from audience and critics at the TGS 2016 show floor. You can check that out. Here is the TGS 2016 winners list.
