Though the unlocked version of HTC 10 in the US is enjoying the Android Nougat update since December last year, the carrier version got the first taste last month when T-Mobile rolled-out the latest update to its users. And now, new reports are emerging from several users via Twitter that Sprint has also started rolling out the Nougat update for HTC 10 smartphones on its network.
If you are an HTC 10 user on Sprint, an OTA update is likely to hit your device anytime now. If you want to check out manually, just go to Settings>About>Software Updates. If you see the update availability, just follow the onscreen instructions to update your HTC 10 with Android Nougat.
It may be noted that the update is quite hefty with a size of 1.3GB. So, if you are using your mobile carrier for data, you may want to look for free Wi-Fi stations. Also, it is advisable to keep your device’s battery at 40% or more before starting the update.
