As per newly leaked Android Nougat update strategy document, the Sony Xperia XZ and Xperia X Performance will be getting the Android 7.0 Nougat update later this October. While the Sony Xperia X and X Compact are supposed to get the new update in November. The release dates were spotted in a leaked Android N update strategy document from Sony Slovakia. The new leak also suggests that the Sony Xperia XA and XA Ultra will receive the firmware upgrade sometimes in early 2017. It is not confirmed whether the low-end devices from Sony such as Xperia M4 Aqua, Xperia M5, Xperia C5 Ultra and Xperia C4 will get the Android 7.0 update too. Sony is also expected to run the Android 7.0 Nougat Beta Program, that will be made available to the Xperia devices.

So far, Sony has not confirmed any of these details itself. The above information obtained should be taken with a grain of salt. It would be wise, to not get too excited about the new update yet.
