Since early this year, the Korean giant has been releasing the Android Lollipop updates to its Galaxy smartphones one by one. Obviously, the high-end phones got the priority, but others also included in the long list.
The next Samsung smartphone to experience the Lollipop is Galaxy S5 mini (SM-G800), which is spotted with Android 5.0.1 on Samsung Denmark website. Based on the listing, we can believe that the mini smartphone will start receiving the firmware by the end of May. The S5 mini is a lower specs variant of last year’s flagship phone Galaxy S5 and currently running Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
The new software update will bring the new Material design UI, 64-bit ART runtime, new quick settings and recent Apps menu, bug fixes and improved performance.
If you are using the Galaxy S5 mini, don’t forget to share with us when you receive update notification.
