Rick and Morty season 2 concluded on October 4, 2015, and fans of the hit animated series have been eagerly waiting for the next season to arrive since then. Even the rumors which claimed that the third season will air at the start of 2017 turned out to be a false one.
When Rick and Morty’s first episode aired, many viewers thought that it would turn out to be a fail series. However, the creators of the show, Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon always believed that it will become popular one day, and it did. As the story of the show progresses, the number of viewers increased. And today, Rick and Morty is one of the most popular animated series out there. The only complain fans currently have about the show is the release date for the third season. Recently, Rick and Morty’s co-creator, Justin Roiland joked about the third season being cancelled. Fans of the series were surely shocked after Roiland talked about the third season and claimed that it’s never arriving. “When they find out it’s never coming… yeesh. It’s gonna get gnarly.” Right after he tweeted this, many fans started to beg him not to do this. But it was later discovered that he was just joking around. However, fans are currently tired of how the creators have been treating them.

As for now, the release date for Rick and Morty season 3 is still a big mystery. The third season is expected to arrive sometime in 2017, so all fans can do now is wait and see what the creators have in mind for us.
