Reliance Jio launched commercially today, and along the launch, the company added a bunch of new brands to their Free Welcome Plan, offering unlimited calls, messages, and data.
Here’s the full list of newly supported devices including models from Motorola, Xiaomi, OnePlus, and Lenovo:
Motorola: Moto G (3rd Gen), Moto E (2nd Gen), Moto X Play, Moto G Turbo, Moto G4, and Moto G4 Plus. (Moto G4 Play, which is expected to debut in India on Sept. 6 is also expected to be eligible for Reliance Jio SIM)
Lenovo: Vibe Shot
BlackBerry: Priv
LeEco: Le Max 2 and Le 2
Xiaomi: Redmi 2 Prime, Redmi Note 3 (H3A), Redmi 3S, Redmi 3S Prime, Mi 5, Mi Max
OnePlus: OnePlus 3
InFocus: M535, M680, M370, M370I and M535+
Onida: I4G1
Note that although Huawei and Celkon are listed as Reliance Jio partners, there’s still no list of individual models supported.
With the newly added brands, Jio now supports almost every prominent smartphone brand, with the exception of Apple.
As an addition to unlimited calls, messages, and data, Reliance Jio also offers premium access to their apps including My Jio, Jio on Demand, Jio Beats. For all that already are on Preview Offer, starting today you’ll be automatically switched to the Free Welcome Offer. After your Free Welcome Offer expires you are able to sing for a plethora of Jio’s postpaid tariffs.
Note that Jio offers 25-percent discounts for students (they need to have a valid ID), and that there are no extra fees for calls and messages during festivals, Valentine and Friendship day, as well as other socially important days.
