According to one industry insider, Rockstar will be appearing at the PlayStation Meeting being held next month. Gamezone reports that the insider, Tidux, posted a tweet with the hashtag #PSM, which is being used for the PlayStation Meeting, alongside a guitar and a star, which could be a cheeky way of saying “Rockstar”. If true, this could point to a new announcement on the part of Rockstar Games, such as Red Dead Redemption 2.
Rumours have been going strong that Rockstar has been developing the sequel to Red Dead Redemption for a while now. Some rumours even suggested that the game was to be revealed at E3 2016, although this was debunked by Sony. Leaks deemed authentic have confirmed, however, that the game is indeed under development and is likely to be revealed soon.

The PlayStation Meeting, which will be held on September 7th in New York, is also expected to be when the newest Sony console will be revealed. Titled the PlayStation 4 Neo, this will be a more powerful version of the existing PS4, capable of rendering games at 4K resolutions. It has been confirmed that there will be no exclusive games for the PS4 Neo, so if Red Dead Redemption 2 is indeed announced for the PS4 Neo, it will also be playable on PS4.
