Huawei is set to declare a new flagship device just prior to the onset of IFA in Berlin. We’re still unsure whether it will likely be the Huawei Mate 8 or the Mate 7 Plus, but a video posted on YouTube today showed off the machine in action.
Though the video playtime is only 18 seconds, it is enough to get a fundamental walk-through of the newest layout of upcoming device. part from a few changes, the overall design seems to be the continuation from current flagship – the Mate 7.
Earlier rumors suggest that the Mate 8 will come with a 6-inch display with 2K resolution and 490 ppi pixel density. It will be powered by the latest Huawei-made Kirin 950 chipset, which will compete the Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 820 chipset. The phone will offer a 20.7 megapixel primary camera, and an 8 megapixel selfie shooter. In terms of memory, it is expected that Huawei Mate 8 will be available in two versions, 3GB of RAM with 16GB storage, and 4GB of RAM with 64GB built-in storage. A 4,100mAh battery will keep the lights on.
The device will feature a fingerprint scanner just below the rear camera sensor. Given to reviews, the fingerprint scanner on Mate 7 was clearly in a winner in top line of smartphones. This time it is again expected that Huawei will introduce high quality scanner on Huawewi Mate 8 as well.
Regrettably, nothing has been officially disclosed by the company about this forthcoming Mate flagship. In addition, the smartphone featured in the video might be another device in relation to the Mate 8. Thus, before making any more decisions, lets wait for some definite information regarding the approaching flagship.
