Pokémon GO, one of the most popular Android apps has come up with yet another update and it’s labelled as the 0.39.1 version. This version brings a ton of changes, which have been listed below as the developers were kind enough to provide us with a changelog.
- Capture location: The location where a Pokémon was caught will now be displayed on their information screen.
- Pokémon GO Plus and Incense: Trainers can attempt to capture Pokémon they encounter from using Incense with the Pokémon GO Plus accessory.
- Fixed a bug that caused some users to get stuck on the loading screen, even after restarting the app.
- Fixed a bug where the camera sometimes moved at slow speeds during battle.
- Minor bug fixes
Pokémon GO is not a small game by any means, and it carries a space of 76.49MB. Since the app was officially released in July 2016, you will need to be running a fairly higher operating system of Android. Therefore, we highly recommended that you are running Android 4.4 or higher otherwise you will run into compatibility issues with the APK file.
It is also recommended that you start playing the game on an Android smartphone that is optimized on both hardware and software fronts. These days, mid-ranged phones are coming with very decent specifications, so it does make sense to invest in an impressively spec’d handset so that you don’t run into performance issues while playing the game.
Pokémon GO is extremely tough on the system resources, but as more updates are released, your device should easily be able to handle its demands. However, you should keep in mind that is that the app has been optimized for smartphones and not tablets, so while you can play the game on your Android tablet, it is not recommended that you do so.
