OUKITEL is known for selling budget friendly smartphones with huge batteries. The OUKITEL K6000 Plus is one such smartphone from the company that is equipped with 6,080mAh battery and it comes with 12V/2A charger for fast charging. The Chinese firm is brave enough to compare the charging speed of the K6000 Plus with iPhone 7 Plus that features a 2,900mAh battery and comes with a 5V/1A charger.
The battery of the OUKITEL K6000 Plus is more than twice the size of the battery of iPhone 7 Plus. Still, the K6000 Plus takes less time to charge thanks to its fast charging charger. OUKITEL has confirmed that it takes only 84 minutes to charge its 6,080mAh battery completely. However, if the K6000 Plus is charged using a 5V/1A charger which is available with iPhone 7 Plus, it would take more than 6 hours to charge the massive battery of the OUKITEL’s phone.
Here is a comparison of the charging time of OUKITEL K6000 Plus and iPhone 7 Plus smartphones by using their respective chargers. By charging both the phones for 5 minutes, the OUKITEL K6000 Plus achieves 4 percent battery power whereas the iPhone 7 Plus gains around 2 percent power.
By charging for 30 minutes, OUKITEL K6000 Plus gains 38 percent power and the iPhone gets around 15 percent power. By charging for 1 hour, the K6000 Plus gains 72 percent power and the iPhone reaches only 33 percent. By 84 minutes, the K6000 Plus is completely charged while the iPhone 7 Plus has not even reached the half mark.
When the charging time reaches 170 minutes, the battery power of the iPhone 7 Plus reaches 94 percent. It takes 23 more minutes for the iPhone 7 Plus to reach 100 percent mark. This shows that even though the iPhone 7 Plus is a flagship phone, Apple is only providing a normal charger with it. However, OUKITEL is providing a quick charge charger with its mid-range phones.
The OUKITEL K6000 Plus is available on flash sale through reseller stores. AliExpress has selected the K6000 Plus to sell it at an attractively low price of $161 during the July smartphone week sale.
