“The Originals” Season 5 will have a lot of new stars and some old ones becoming a regular feature. Just as reported earlier, the new season will take a time jump and hence the younger characters will be shown grown up. Similarly, the little Hope will be grown up into a teenager and this new role will be played by Danielle Ross Russel. Check out more updates!

Last season, child actress Summer Fontana portrayed the role of Hope. But in “The Originals” Season 5, this role will be played by the “Wonder” actress Russel. The actress is also known for playing good roles in movies such as in “A Walk Among the Tombstones” opposite Liam Neeson and opposite big stars like Emma Stone, Bradley Cooper and Rachel McAdams in “Aloha,” says Blasting News.

Plec Hints At Another Spinoff From “The Originals”

According to “The Vampire Diaries” showrunner, Julie Plec who will also lead the spinoff series, she is planning another spin-off show from “The Originals” franchise.  Speculations also indicate that there will be a Klaroline reunion which was teased at the end of TVD.

With the young Hope Mikaelson going to the school of Caroline and Alaric, there is a strong possibility of Klaroline reunion. But while talking to the media, the showrunner recently said that she has not made any concrete decisions regarding in which direction the spinoff will move.

Despite this statement, the show has added some new actors and even confirmed a few as regular for “The Originals” Season 5.

Steven Krueger Promoted As Regular

According to Deadline, the recurring guest star on the CW show, Steven Krueger has been promoted to series regular for “The Originals” Season 5. His character of Josh Rosza was a part of all the previous four seasons and originally was a tourist.

Later on, Josh was transformed into a vampire by Charles Michael Davis’s Marcel.
