OPPO R7s, the newest addition in the R7 lineup, can be pre-ordered in the Malaysia starting today. The high-end smartphone was announced last month during GITEX in Dubai. It is currently listed on the OPPO’s official website in Malaysia, for RM 1,898 (approx. $435). It is worth to note that there is no upfront cost for pre-ordering the handset. Also, if your pre-order is among the first 500 orders, the company will give you a free VOOC car charger. According to listing on the company’s site, the pre-order process ends on November 22nd.
For those who have not gone through the specs list, here is a quick recap. The OPPO R7s is built around a 5.5-inch FullHD display with 401ppi pixel density. Powering the handset is an octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor, coupled with a 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage (expandable). It packs a 3,070mAh battery (non-removable) with fast charging technology. The company claims that a 5-minute charge can provide up to 2 hours of talk-time.
Photography enthusiasts get a 13-megapixel autofocus camera with several features including Geo-tagging, touch focus, panorama and face detection. An 8-megapixel secondary camera is for the selfie-obsessed generation. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with A-GPS, microUSB 2.0, and LTE. Measuring 7mm thin, it weighs around 155g.
The phone comes in Gold color option, but during pre-orders one can secure the limited edition Rose Gold too.
