OnePlus 2, which has been so far the only phone released by OnePlus that hasn’t been a great hit, has had its price reduced permanently in a rather desperate attempt from the company. Apart form this OnePlus has made a few more important changes in its sales policies: the Oneplus X can now be bought without invitations, and any order larger than $100, which means all phones, is now shipping free of charge.

OnePlus 2 is one of the best mid priced phones available in the market at the moment, with a full HD 1080 X 1920 pixel Touchscreen Display spanning 5.5 inches, a 4 GB RAM a 13 Mega Pixel rear facing camera with flash and a 5 Mega Pixel front facing camera for selfies and video calls. It has a powerful Octa-Core 1.8 GHz Snapdragon 810 processor and a powerful battery of 3300 mAh to power the OxygenOS 2.0 that it runs – a modified version of the android operating system.

The phone accepts two SIMs, has all of the connectivity features including but not limited to WiFi, 3G, 4G LTE, GPS, Bluetooth, Proximity Sensors, LED, and what not. The phone is indeed an excellent assortation of features and given its lowered price, it’s expected to find the interest of a lot of potential buyers.

If you ordered the phone over the past fortnight and are lamenting the $40 decrease in price, don’t worry: the company will offer you a $40 refund on your price because of the bad timing. You don’t need to worry and rush to buy your handset though, the price cut is permanent and will remain as low as $349.
