Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6 the three smartphones marking the reentry of yesteryear’s leader back into the smartphone market are all set to arrive in India. HMD Global, which has acquired the rights to manufacture and distribute the Nokia smartphones, has also announced that each of the Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6 smartphones sold in India will be manufactured locally. It seems that HMD Global is also trying to woo the Indian customers by acknowledging the ‘Make In India’ initiative by the current Indian Government.

Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6: Price, Release Date, And Availability
Nokia 3 is the cheapest of the three smartphones and will be sold in India through offline retail stores. Nokia 3 is set to release on June 16 and will be priced at Rs. 9,499. Nokia 5, the mid-budgeted smartphone by HMD will also be sold offline with a pre-booking set to start from July 7, which seems a long time to wait. However, when you will hear the price, all the wait will seem to be worth it. Nokia 5 will be sold in India for just Rs. 12,899.
Nokia 6, the Big Daddy will be sold exclusively through Amazon for Rs. 14,999. The registration for the same will start from July 14. Also, Amazon is offering a Rs. 1,000 discount to those who purchase Nokia 6 using Amazon Pay balance.

Nokia 3 Specs
Nokia 3 is a low budget smartphone for those who want to own a premium looking latest Android smartphone with a big brand name. Nokia 3 sports a polycarbonate body along with metallic frames on the sides all fit in a 143.4×71.4×8.4mm frame, which actually gives it a premium look. It has standard 5-inch High Definition Display with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal memory, which can be expanded up to 128GB with an external memory card. Nokia 3 runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek 6737 SoC which is clocked at 1.3GHz. It has 8-MP camera both at front and rear. Nokia 3 gets its juice from a 2560mAh Li-ion battery.

Nokia 5 is a premium-looking mid-budget smartphone with a glaring design featuring Aluminium 6000 series body with chic curves around its edges. The smooth and rounded shape of Nokia 5 has been described by the company as a “perfect fit for those who need great design, specs at its price.” The 5.2-inch HD display is fitted inside a 149.7×72.5×8.05mm frame. Like its smaller sibling Nokia 3, Nokia 6 also comes with 2GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage with an expandable capacity to 128GB. It runs Android Nougat 7.1.1 out of the box and is powered by a Snapdragon 430 processor. On the optical front, Nokia 5 has a 13-MP rear camera and an 8MP lens on its front. It is fuelled by a 3,000 mAh non-removable battery.

Nokia 6, which is priced at 14,999 is the most feature-rich smartphone among Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6. It sports a 5.5-inch 1080p Full-HD 2.5D IPS display covered with Sculpted Corning Gorilla Glass layer for added protection. Its display also has a sunlight readability feature, which makes it easy to cast off unnecessary brightness from sunlight. Nokia 6 measures 154 x 75.8 x 7.85 mm in dimension and is weighed around 169 grams. It runs Android Nougat 7.1.1 out of the box and is powered by a Snapdragon 430 SoC. The smartphone comes with 3GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage. There is also another limited edition Arte Black color edition of Nokia 6 that comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage.
Nokia 6 sports a 16MP rear camera and an 8MP front sensor, both with a f/2.0 aperture. Other features of the phone include NFC, USB OTG, Bluetooth 4.1. HMD has included Dolby Atmos and dual stereo speakers as a highlighting feature of Nokia 6. It also supports fingerprint sensor at the front and is fuelled by a 3,000mAh battery.
