Yesterday, a design schematic of the alleged iPhone 7 had leaked out, showcasing the dimensions and design of the device. But today, a couple of new iPhone 7 spy shots have emerged on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo. And these leaked images show some really cool and anticipated iPhone 7 features.
As you can see in the images, which can possibly be fake, the alleged iPhone 7 gets more or less the same physical structure as the iPhone 6s. But coming to the very first noticeable change, you can see that the back of the phone is clean and plain, and the antenna bands have been removed or hidden. There seems to be a dark band running across the top and bottom edges of the device, and this could possibly be the relocated bands.
The next change is the new Smart Connector, which is denoted by three dots on the bottom of the phone’s back. This feature was seen in the iPad Pro first and allows for power and data transfer for the iPad and its accessories. However, many analysts say that Apple might not include this feature in the iPhone 7 and might put it into the iPhone 8 in 2017.
Lastly, you can see that the camera lens now sits flush into the body without the protrusion or the metal ring seen in the iPhone 6s. There’s the LED flash and microphone but no dual cameras, which might only be seen on the larger iPhone 7 Plus. In the leaked images, it is not very distinguishable but looks like there’s no 3.5mm jack, though we can’t confirm it.
Other rumors say that the iPhone 7 will come with a waterproof and dustproof body, A10 chipset, touch-sensitive home button, etc.
