Motorola dedicatedly rolls-out the new Android updates to its devices, but the original Moto X (2013) has always been the last in the updates queue since arrival of Lollipop due to outdated Snapdragon S4 Pro chip which requires further software tweaking before roll-out. The handset was recently updated to Android 5 Lollipop after several delays and soak tests.
Today, a new soak test for Moto X 2013 begins in Brazil and it is glad to note that this time it is for the latest 5.1 Lollipop. Moto X (2014) has already tasted the latest Android 5.1 Lollipop which brings both stability and usability enhancements. It improves the quick settings, a better control on notifications, improved Android System and camera performance.
A similar software update is now begins to roll-out in the Brazil for original Moto X. If nothing goes wrong, the update should not take a long time to be available through out the world.
