The new Meizu Pro 5 has been officially unveiled today, which packs the same chipset Exynos 7420 found on the Samsung Galaxy S6 and its siblings. The new phone resembles to an iPhone, and features durable metal body.
Undoubtedly the USP of this phone is its Exynos 7420 SoC, manufactured by Samsung using 14nm FinFET process. Now what’s interesting is that Meizu has released all the major benchmark scores of the Pro 5, and surprisingly it is clearly winner over the Samsung’s own Galaxy S6, at least on paper.
Other specs of the Pro 5 includes a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED 2.5D Full HD display, 3GB / 4GB of RAM, 32GB / 64GB of storage, and Android 5.1 Lollipop with Flyme 5 on top. It features 21MP primary camera along with a 5MP selfie shooter.
Both the storage variants of Meizu Pro 5 should hit the markets on October 12. As for the price, the 32GB/3GB model comes for CNY 2800 ($439), while the 64GB/4GB will set you back CNY 3100 ($486).
