The only significant releases by LG this year are the high-end LG V10 and LG G4, the latter being the flagship. LG G5 has been in the rumors since quite some time, and today some new specs have been leaked out regarding the phone. A Chinese tipster named Zealer has leaked out the information on Weibo. But before we go ahead and tell you all about it, make sure you take this news with a tiny grain of salt.
The leakster says that the LG G5 will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 820 chipset and will carry a quad-core CPU along with the Adreno 530 GPU. Adding to it, the phone will be featuring a 5.6-inch 2K display (1440 x 2560). The phone might be seen sporting a 21MP rear and an 8MP front camera. The LG G5 may get an Iris scanner too.
According to the leak, the LG G5 might be launched in February 2016, which also coincides with the date when the Galaxy S7 is expected to be unveiled.
