For all those who are using the LG G3 in Canada, here’s the good news you have been waiting for. The mobile carriers in Canada have started rolling out the Android Marshmallow update to the G3. The update has been due for long and is finally rolling out to the 2014 flagship.

As expected, the LG G3 Android Marshmallow update brings the general Marshmallow features like Doze, Google Now on Tap, new app permissions, etc. The update should be available on all carriers including Virgin, Koodo, Fido, Rogers, Bel, MTS, Telus, Videotron, and SaskTel.

Just for your information, the LG G3 was available in August 2014 in Canada and originally came with Android KitKat. After almost six months, the G3 was updated to Android Lollipop in the February of 2015.

Talking about the new Android Marshmallow update for LG G3 released in Canada, the roll-out is around 777MB in size. You will soon receive a notification on your G3 saying that the update is now available to download and install. In case you are impatient and want to update now, you can check for the update manually by going to Settings > About > Software > Update.
