Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild is one of the most anticipated games for Nintendo’s upcoming mystery console NX and the Wii U. However, up till now, we don’t feel so optimistic about Link’s new adventure in the series. We don’t want you to feel disappointed yet because Nintendo has yet to show some more Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild gameplay footage. Here are our Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild Impressions so far. You might not like what we have to say and that’s why you should express your opinion in the comment section. Let us know whether our criticisms are valid or not.
1. Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild impressions – no dungeons so far
What’s a Legend of Zelda game without any dungeons. So far we see Link fighting enemies exclusively out in the open with a wide array of weapons at his disposal. Nintendo promised some large dungeon structure but so far we haven’t seen one in the trailer.
2. Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild impressions – Performance issues for NX and Wii U
Wii U might not be able to handle the next gen Legend of Zelda game while NX will be a brand new console. There is ample reason to suspect that the game might not be well optimized for the NX and definitely not the Wii U. We’ll just have to wait and see how it plays out. Fingers crossed!
3. Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild impressions – Differences between NX and Wii U versions
Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild might look different on both platforms because of difference in hardware specs. On one platform it might be really optimized (however, given the console has yet to be released, that doesn’t seem likely) and on the other, it’ll be most likely downgraded to run properly. This is our prediction and given that Nintendo has yet to reveal any more details we’ll have to wait and see how the progress goes.
4. Nintendo might try some weird trick to give a new gameplay experience
The Legend Of Zelda Skyward Sword tried to give its players a new experience using the Wiimote but it ended up being annoying. We have yet to see how Nintendo will use the NX to make their upcoming Legend of Zelda game enjoyable and fresh simultaneously.
Nintendo intends to use Amiibo for Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild, according to some rumors at least. However, we don’t know to what extent they plan to use Amiibo. Could it be they use a lot of collectible dolls that could potentially unlock completely new areas in the game. That could prove to be annoying. Nintendo hid an entire dungeon in Twilight Princess HD so they can do this again with the upcoming Legend of Zelda game.
