Following a month-long search, ‘LIVE’ host Kelly Ripa on Monday announced that the show has finally found her new co-host in Ryan Seacrest.
For the uninitiated, LIVE happens to be the among the top daytime entertainment talk shows currently airing in the United States. The show has recently gone by the title “LIVE with Kelly” as Ripa alone anchored the show over the past 11 months with dozens of guests appearing as special co-hosts.

According to reports, Seacrest will be moving to New York for the new job. Although, he will simultaneously continue hosting his daily Los Angeles radio show.
In a behind-the-scenes video, Ripa is seen telling Seacrest, “Let’s kill it” ahead of the show, adding that she was “inexplicably nervous.” The duo’s first guest in the show was Chris Patt who will be playing the lead role in upcoming Hollywood movie Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, scheduled to release on May 5, 2017.
Ripa, who has been a longtime host for the show, took some time thanking everyone involved in the search for her new co-host, including all the guest co-hosts who had accompanied her in the show during the past several months.
She also highlighted that the day of the announcement has coincided her 21st wedding anniversary with husband Mark Consuelos.
“May 1 is a great day for me personally and I think for me professionally,” she said. “It just feels like very good karma.”
