In what could be termed as the biggest price cut ever Apple has extended to its Indian consumers, the prices of the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus have been slashed by as much as Rs 22,000.

This means the 128GB Apple iPhone 6s that used to set back buyers Rs 82,000 so far will now cost only Rs 60,000.

Similarly, the iPhone 6s Plus (128GB) has also received a price cut of Rs 22,000 and is now available at Rs 70,000.

As for those of you planning to purchase the smaller iPhone SE, Apple has good news for you too. The 4-inch device that previously cost Rs 49,000 is now available at an MRP of Rs 44,000.

These price cuts have come just ahead of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus release date in India. The new flagships of Cupertino will be available for Indian consumers October 7 onwards. Even though Apple is yet to officially start the pre-orders for both these devices, a number of resellers such as iWorld are already accepting pre-bookings.

Powered by iOS 9, both iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus comes with 3D Touch and 2GB RAM. Other key specs include 12-megapixel iSight camera, 4K video recording, FaceTime front camera of 5-megapixel, A9 chip with 64-bit architecture, and M9 motion coprocessor.

Apple iPhone 6s sports a 4.7-in display while that on its bigger sibling 6s Plus measures at 5.5-in. Both give you three storage capacity to choose from: 16, 64, and 128GB.
