Intex has unveiled its latest budget smartphone, Intex Aqua 4.5 Pro. This will be the second handset release by the company in the past few days as it had recently launched its entry-level smartphone, Intex Aqua G2. The Aqua 4.5 Pro has been listed on the official company website along with the specifications and pricing details, however, availability details are yet unknown.
The Aqua 4.5 Pro sports a 4.5-inch TFT display with a 480×854 pixels resolution and pixel density of 294 ppi. The device is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Spreadtrum (SC7731G) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The smartphone offers an internal storage of 8GB which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. The device has been priced at Rs.4,199.
The Aqua 4.5 Pro features a 2 MP rear shooter with dual-LED flash and a 0.3 MP secondary front-facing camera. The device comes shipped with Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box and packs a battery of 1500mAh which should provide up to 6 hours of talk-time and 300 hours of standby time. The device has dual-SIM functionality and supports various connectivity options including GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth among others.
Intel had launched Intex Aqua G2 earlier this week at Rs. 1,990. It is targeted for first-time users and runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. The device sports a 2.8-inch TFT display with a resolution of 240×320 pixels and supports only 2G network. The device has dual-SIM functionality and packs an 1100mAh battery.
Although the availability details are yet unknown, but the Aqua 4.5 Pro is expected to hit shelves anytime soon. Till then, stay tuned.
