Huawei Watch 2 Porsche Design variant which was first spotted at MWC event in Barcelona earlier this year has now been launched officially. Just like the Porsche designed smartphones, this one too comes at a premium. It carries a price tag of €795 ($925) which is more than free folds of the Apple Watch Series 2 basic variant. The watch is currently made available only in the Europe market (including the UK).

For those who don’t know, the Huawei Watch 2 Porsche Design features the same internals and specs as the regular Watch 2. The difference lies in the design, which has been developed in collaboration with Porsche team. There’s a tachymeter bezel, strap with red stitching, and Porsche Design-created watchfaces.
As far as the specs go, both the regular Watch 2 and Porsche edition from Huawei feature Snapdragon 2100 chipset (with 768MB RAM, 4GB storage). They sport an AMOLED display measuring 1.2-Inches with 390 x 390px resolution (326ppi).
There’s no information on the launch and availability in the US and other parts of the world. Porsche has enjoyed decent success with Blackberry smartphones, so it won’t be a surprise if the company can hit the sales milestone with its smartwatch venture.
