HTC’s latest flagship One M9 has already been updated with Android 5.1 Lollipop version in the USA. But if you hail from Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), then you might have been waiting for it since a long time. But it was until now, according to a tweet from HTC’s Product and Service Manager of EMEA Graham Wheeler, the flagship phone will be receiving latest Android 5.1 update starting today i.e. August 4th.

In the tweet, no information is shared regarding new features, bug fixes or any improvements. But as it is very close now, even you might get the update notification while you are reading this news, you will be able to notice complete change-log yourself.
HTC One M9 sold in leftover regions should also be receiving the latest software update, but unfortunately there is no fixed date announced yet.
