We already know that HTC is working on the Nexus 2016 and two HTC Nexus 2016 devices are being made. The new devices have allegedly been codenamed as HTC “Sailfish” and HTC “Marlin”. In a recent report, showed you a render of HTC Marlin that looked like HTC 10. Today, HTC Nexus 2016 Sailfish specs have been revealed, and it is being said that the device will be a successor to the LG Nexus 5X.
A new report from AndroidPolice reveals some specs of the HTC Sailfish that the site has received from a “reliable source”. According to the source, the HTC Nexus 2016 Sailfish smartphone will come with a 5 inch Full HD smartphone and will be powered by a 2GHz quad-core CPU (might be the Snapdragon 820). There will be 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. The phone will be juiced by a 2,770mAh battery.
The report further claims that the new device will come with USB Type-C port and a fingerprint scanner at the back. There will be a 12MP camera at the back and an 8MP front camera. The headphone jack will be on the top and the speakers will be on the bottom, while the phone will also offer Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity.
We suggest you take this report with a pinch of salt, as such rumors are unofficial and speculated specs are subject to change. Another rumor says that the high-end Nexus 2016 might be made by Huawei as a new variant of the Nexus 6P was spotted recently on a benchmark listing. However, there’s an equal possibility of HTC making both the devices. We suggest you to wait for more leaks to confirm these rumors.
