Honor 8 Pro a.k.a. Honor V9 in China has finally come to the Indian market. Just as the name suggests, it’s an upgraded version of Honor 8 launched in India in July last year. Let’s find out the differences and key points about the Huawei Honor device.
Before we dive into the specs sheet for the Pro variant, let us tell you the key area of improvements from the regular variant. The Honor 8 Pro features a bigger battery, more RAM, and a newer Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box.
Honor 8 Pro Specifications
Rest of the basic stuff remains the same. It sports a 5.7-Inch Quad HD LCD display powered by Huawei’s own Kirin 960 octa-core processor. The handset comes equipped with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
Even the camera department hasn’t witnessed any upgrades. You get the same dual-camera setup of two 12 MP lenses, one for RGB, and one for monochrome details. All this is powered by a 4,000 mAh battery with Android 7.0 Nougat OS on top.
Honor 8 Pricing
Before India, the smartphone has been made available in UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, and Switzerland for approx. 549 Euros. This converts to Rs. 38,200. Hence, we can expect the OEM to keep the pricing around this figure only.
However, at this pricing, it will be interesting to see the response Honor 8 Pro gets in India post the OnePlus 5 launch.
