Killer Instinct is getting its first crossover character from the Halo franchise in the guise of The Arbiter, who will be joining the fray in Season 3.
The Arbiter was revealed as a contender in Killer Instinct via a brand new trailer, embedded below. Unfortunately, there’s no Keith David, which is almost a dealbreaker, really. According to Frank O’Connor from 343 Industries, The Arbiter that appears in Killer Instinct is “an amalgam of historical arbiters.”
Season 3 of Killer Instinct will also include Rash from the Battletoads franchise, and will bring back Killer Instinct 2 characters Kim Wu, Tusk and Gargos. With the game launching in only a few weeks, it seems unlikely there will be any more character reveals, making this a fairly light season, content-wise.
Killer Instinct Season 3 will be releasing next month, that is, in March on the Xbox One as well as the PC. The PC version of the game will only run on Windows 10, so if you have an older version of Windows and want to play the PC version of the game, you’re out of luck.
