We speculated previously that GTA 6 will take place in London because of an easter egg that was discovered in GTA 5. However, now there is a huge chance the game might take place in Chicago and could even feature a female protagonist. But will it all make sense? And what about a GTA 6 Release Date? Well, Rockstar is focused on Red Dead Redemption 2 right now but that doesn’t mean they have abandoned GTA 6 entirely.

GTA 6 Release Date update – A brand new location and female protagonist?

We think The best location is Chicago. We want something completely new to gta. We’ve seen Vice City before and many other locations constantly rumored so it’s time to bring something new to the table. Chicago is the best place. Massive downtown with known hood places and an awesome freeway. It’s perfect.

Another likely destination is San Fiero. But we feel this is a great time in the GTA timeline to introduce a new city such as one based off Chicago or Detroit maybe. Detroit offers a lot of geographical diversity such as a big city, suburban areas, low income areas and even a GTA version of the great lakes would be cool to see.

But there’s nothing wrong with visiting Vice City as well. Why would it be odd to revisit Vice City? GTA IV revisited Liberty City after only 7 years and looks nearly completely different. A lot of things could be reasonably different if Vice City was revisited after over 30 years. However, another great and likely place is Carcer city. We think it could be set in Carcer city, if not Vice City, because its multiple times that both Vice City, Liberty City, and Carcer City are mentioned in the game, by civilians and the protagonists.

And what about a female protagonist? Well, just imagine Ronda Rousey kicking ass in the slums and streets of inner city Detroit or Chicago. Anyways what’s really hard to speculate right now is a potential GTA 6 Release Date. But we’ll keep you updated about that.
