Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe was the first to come with the Snapdragon 821 chipset. It is already available for purchase in Taiwan. The upcoming Xiaomi Mi 5s is also expected to be launched with a Snapdragon 821 CPU. However, the Google Pixel and Pixel XL still might be the first smartphones in the United States to sport Snapdragon 821 CPUs. According to Trusted Reviews, both smartphones are being built by HTC. The Google Pixel, Pixel XL are expected to be announced on October 4 with pre-orders starting the same day. The expected price will be between £349 to £499.

As per previous reports, both Pixel smartphones will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipsets along with 4GB of RAM. Other expected features include 12-megapixel rear cameras, Daydream VR, and Android 7.1 Nougat OS out of the box. The Google Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones are expected to feature a 5-inch full-HD display and a 5.5-inch Quad HD display, respectively.

The new Pixel lineup is also expected to mark the end of Nexus series for Google. As we have reported earlier, the search engine giant might not release its upcoming smartphones with Nexus branding anymore.
