The new feature titled Backup and Sync was supposed to be launched on June 28 but may be due to some technical improvements the release date is postponed. Hence, the users will still have to use the old Google Drive for backing up their computer files. However, as far as the upcoming Backup and Sync is concerned, the users will be allowed to backup the entire data from their computer, Android or iOS device, as reported by Ubergizmo.

The website also suggests that Google is delaying the launch of Backup and Sync to replace or update Google Drive because they want to accomplish some new improvements in it. Since the users are passionately waiting for its release, Google has notified that the users can follow the G Suite Updates to get the latest updates on the new upcoming online cloud storage facility.

According to Android Headlines, a few services from the Google including Admin Console, Google Drive, Calendar, and Hangouts have now returned to normal function following an outage. A probe was conducted by a company based in the Mountain View on the disruption that resulted in a number of services to stop working.

On the other hand, Google Drive also lowered in January this year and online cloud services tend to outages due to the very nature of the technology powering them. Still, the global users take this online cloud storage very reliable.
