Now this class has some of the hardest choices to make when selecting skills. Ultimately, it depends on your team tactics and how many players are playing as Heavy. Firstly, you’re going to want the Explosive Launcher skill. It will increase the damage of your Boom Shot. Then, get the Explosive Launcher Capacity so you don’t run out of ammo. Also choose the Pistol Expert as it increases the damage of your Bolt Pistol by at least 20% after every shot until you reload.

Marked Damage skill is incredibly useful if you pair it with the Sniper. And finally, you’re going to want Turret Damage if you have an Engineer putting down turrets for you. To play as the Heavy, make sure you use your Boom Shot with the enemies clustered together. Encourage your Engineer to get a turret down as fast as possible. Sit on that and rack up a ton of kills.

Overall, the Heavy class has the highest damage output in Horde mode. This is especially true when you get on the turret. Let us know what you think of our Gears of War 4 Horde 3.0 Heavy Guide.
