New Final Fantasy 15 DLC being released this month

Few lucky players will get to play the new Final Fantasy 15 DLC early, scheduled to be released later this month. Square Enix has revealed its lineup and panels for this year’s PAX East event in Boston. Packed with several hands-on demos, the lineup will give gamers an early sneak-peek into Final Fantasy XV’s Episode Gladiolus DLC. Those visiting the event will also be able to try out some of the new content before the scheduled PS4 and Xbox One March 28 release date.

There are several other demo opportunities that gamers can make use of –

  • Final Fantasy XIV Online
  • Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age
  • Dragon Quest Heroes II
  • I Am Setsuna on Nintendo Switch
  • Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX
  • NieR: Automata
  • Deus Ex: Mankind Divided – A Criminal Past and Ride 2

Square Enix is also hosting a few panels at the event to let fans catch up on the latest developments. For example, NieR: Automata x Final Fantasy XV Panel will allow fans to interact with director Yoko Taro of NieR: Automata and discuss the launch of the Square Enix and PlatinumGames’ action RPG. Fans will get to join producer Haruyoshi Sawatari and global brand manager Raio Mitsuno for a first look at Final Fantasy XV’s Episode Gladiolus DLC during the second half of the panel session. There’s also Final Fantasy XIV Community Q&A Panel where players will be given an opportunity to ask and learn about the latest topics impacting the community with producer/director Naoki Yoshida.

“Picking up from the events from the group’s encounter with Ravus, Gladio leaves the group to train alongside Cor and become even more powerful. He sets on a path to face challenges by encountering larger than life monsters along the way”, reveals Square Enix.
