Bethesda Softworks has announced that the first DLC for Fallout 4, titled Automatron will be released on March 22nd. The DLC features a brand new enemy called the Mechanist, who has let loose a horde of evil robots on the Commonwealth. Players are tasked with taking down the robots and salvaging robot components to build their own robots. Players can mix and match parts of the robot’s body, and customise various elements including paint jobs and voices.
Automatron will be priced at $9.99 and released on the PC, PS4 and Xbox One. As with all other DLC for the game, it will be included automatically in the game’s season pass. The DLC is designed for characters level 15 and above, and a closed beta for it will be conducted before release.
Later, in April, Fallout 4 will get its next bit of DLC: Wasteland Workshop, which is basically Pokémon in Fallout, considering you have to catch and tame wild creatures. Later, a more extensive piece of DLC, Far Harbor will be released, which involves searching for a young woman in a secret colony of synths.
