The long-awaited Elephone Vowney, which was scheduled to launch today – June 20th, has got delayed for another two months. The phone page on company’s website has been updated and the release date is now replaced as August 20th. Initially, the Elephone Vowney was spotted last month on its website with specification details and a price tag of $329. Now with the change of release date, company has compensated price too and as per current listing, the Vowney will be released at $299.99 (Rs. 19,000).
Powered by a MediaTek MT6795 chipset with an octa-core 2.2GHz processor, the Vowney will sport a 5.5 inch IPS LCD display with 2K resolution. Equipped with a whopping 3,800mAh battery, it runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and CM12 out of the box and packs 4GB of RAM, and 32GB on-board storage.
In terms of camera, the Elephone Vowney features a 20.7 megapixel rear snapper, with an 8 megapixel selfie shooter.
